Currently I am enrolled in the Hotel Management Operations program at Georgian College. I am in the second year of my program. After this summer I will have to return for the fall semester to complete my final 4 courses.

  

    This past summer I worked as a houseperson at the Delta Sherwood Inn in Port Carling ontario. While there I learnt the basic housekeeping requirements for a small hotel. Although not part of my job, I did assist guests by bringing their luugage to their assigned rooms. I also assisted the bellhops with room service orders.

 

    This summer I will be workin as a housekeeper. After this summer I will return to school to complete four courses at which time I will graduate. After graduation I plan on travelling for a few years in Europe. After travelling for a few years I would like to settle down to a job in the Rooms division of a large hotel. I hope this will give you a bit of insite as to who I am

Prior to enrolling at Georgian college, I worked as a security guard for several high end properties. Although not directly related to hospitality, it did envolve dealing with people

 

In 2002 I worked at Paramount Canada's Wonderland. Although I was only working an entry level position, I did have contact with the public. I was given the authority to resolve minor guest complaints.

 

This past summer I worked as a Houseperson at the Delta Sherwood Inn. There I was responsible for cleaning rooms, but I still had to interact with guests. I was given the authority to resolve any guest complaint by using empowerment.

 

I feel that I would best be suited for a job where I have to interact with the public, as my all my experience involves me dealing with the public.
